Have you recently lost your MTN mobile data?
MyBroadBand reported posted no-nonsense test and proof of data loss and it’s clear our mobile operators have a lot of explaining to do.
We’re with Cell C and haven’t experienced much the same (not noticeable at least), but what we are finding is that when you have loads of minutes on your contract and you try and phone an 086 number, you’re not able to without loading additional minutes on our contract.
I mean seriously? I have 1000+ minutes and I can’t phone an 086 number. It’s just clear everyone is now mostly using their phones to use apps and browse the net rather than actually phoning anyone.
It seems you just can’t win with mobile service providers in South Africa.
Apparently Telkom Mobile doesn’t lose your data, but their network coverage is not great at all.
